Triduum of Hallowtide (Traditional Latin Mass)
The Diocese of Las Vegas’ Latin Mass Community will be celebrating the Triduum of Hallowtide this year at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church in the Extraordinary tradition. These liturgies are celebrated in Latin.
Both the Latin Extraordinary Form and English Novus Ordo liturgies will fulfill the Holy Day of Obligation requirement for all Roman Catholics. Please note two very important details:
- 10/31 Requiem Vespers at 6:30 PM does NOT fulfill the Holy Day of Obligation requirement
- All Souls Day is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation
*St. Anthony of Padua will have a Vigil Mass on 10/31 at 5:30 PM and 9 AM and 12 PM Masses on 11/1. On All Souls’ Day, the parish will have Mass at 9 AM and 5:30 PM. All Novous Ordo Masses will be celebrated in English.*
